Berlin – Despite finishing as the club’s top scorer last season, Ondrej Duda has failed to hit the ground running in this year’s Hinrunde. Therefore it has been decided that the Slovakian will spend the rest of the season on loan in the Premier League at Norwich City. “We’re still aware of Ondrej’s quality, but neither party has been happy with how the season has gone so far. We hope that England will be a breath of fresh air for him and he will come back to us in the summer full of confidence. He has already shown just how important he can be for Hertha BSC,” Michael Preetz said about the transfer on Sunday (12/01/20).
The midfielder has made seven Bundesliga appearances so far this season, scoring one goal. He also appeared in both of Hertha’s DFB Pokal fixtures so far, picking up a goal and an assist. He has made a total of 70 competitive appearances during his time at the club, racking up 13 goals and nine assists.
