Berlin – The players are back training and preparations for the 2020/21 season are well underway. Four pre-season friendlies have now been arranged after the squad completed an intra-squad friendly on Saturday, 1st August.
The first test for the Herthaner will be in the east of France. Hertha will face AS Saint-Étienne in the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on 7th August (18:00 CEST). ‘Les Verts’ will prove an interesting test having recently reached the French Cup final. Bruno Labbadia’s side will then take on third-tier Viktoria Köln a week later on a Friday afternoon (14/8/20, 16:00 CEST) in a friendly behind closed doors at the Stadion auf dem Wurfplatz/Amateurstadion.
The next friendly will be against Dutch side PSV Eindhoven. who travel to the Olympiapark on 27th August for two friendlies at 15:00 CEST and 17:00 CEST. The four scheduled friendlies will see the ‘Old Lady’ travel to Hamburg to face HSV. This game will kick off at 17:00 CEST on 5th September.
