Happy New Year!

Hertha BSC wishes all of our supporters a happy New Year and a healthy and successful 2021!

An eventful year has come to an end, our dear Herthaner. Another 52 weeks full of highs and lows are now behind us, despite the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The Old Lady’s current season has also been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. The highlight so far has undoubtedly been the 3-1 derby win over 1. FC Union. Having spent the short winter break in 14th place in the table, Hertha’s next Bundesliga match is set for 2nd January (Saturday, 18:30 CET) against Schalke 04.
The blue-and-whites have tasted success at academy level in the year just gone. Due to the pandemic, the authorities called an end to ongoing competitions in May. With that, Hertha secured a strong second-place finish in the U19 North/North-East Bundesliga, while our U17s celebrated winning the title in their division.  The U16s and U15s also finished at the top of their leagues. This season, the Hertha BSC Academy wanted to continue the good performances from last season, but since November football has been halted for our youth teams once again. We are excited to see what 2021 has in store for us all!
Hertha BSC, the team, coaching staff, club officials and all of our colleagues wish you a happy New Year and all the best for 2021!
