The Bundesliga will pause for the second international break of the season in the middle of October. The majority of the Hertha players will join up with their international squads as per usual, but those who remain will be in action on the 11th October against SV Babelsberg 03. Kickoff in the Karl-Liebknecht-Stadion against the fourth tier club, who play in the same league as the Hertha U23 team, is at 17:30 CEST. “The game should help the players to keep their rhythm and get a bit of match experience under match conditions,” said Pál Dárdai.
The showdown against Babelsberg comes between matches against Mainz on the 6th October and the home match against SC Freiburg on the 21st. Dárdai already used the first international break to keep his team on their toes, with Hertha winning a friendly against Hertha 03 Zehlendorf 3-0 at the beginning of September.
