Dilrosun’s Déja-vu

Javairo’s joy over his debut was cut short, Jarstein kept a clean sheet and Darida celebrated a victory against Pekarik and Duda. The following is a round-up of the Berliner’s international games.

Javairo’s joy over his debut was cut short, Jarstein kept a clean sheet and Darida celebrated a victory against Pekarik and Duda. The following is a round-up of the Berliner’s international games.

The Veltins-Arena will be a stadium that Javairo Dilrosun will never forget. Firstly, he made his Bundesliga debut against Schalke 04 back in September and on Monday he made his debut for the Netherlands. The 20-year-old came on for Ryan Babel just before the break but unfortunately halfway through the second half, Dilrosun was taken off injured. The Netherlands were able to celebrate a draw after coming back from 2-0 down.

There was a battle between Berliners in Prague as the Czech Republic and Vladimir Darida took on Slovakia, where Peter Pekarik and Ondrej Duda were playing. Pekarik started for the Slovakians and Ondrej Duda came on and put in a decent cameo performance whilst Vladimir Darida did not feature. The Czech Republic won the game 1-0.

Rune claims another clean sheet

The fact that Rune Jarstein is a reliable keeper was once again proved as on Monday night the keeper kept a clean sheet in Norway’s 2-0 victory over Cyprus.
