Awful news for Julius Kade as the offensive midfielder broke his ankle during the Hertha U23s game on Sunday. He will have an operation on Monday.
Coach Pál Dárdai said, “It is really bad news. He will now be sidelined for a long time but we will do everything we can to make sure he returns in good health.”
Michael Preetz said, “Such an awful injury is devastating for any young player. But we will look after him for the next few months as much as we can and hopefully he can come back to playing football as soon as possible. He does not need to worry about his contract expiring next summer.”
Everyone from Hertha BSC wishes Julius a speedy recovery.
