Berlin – Hertha BSC have loaned out Muhammed Kiprit to the Austrian Bundesliga until the end of the season. The attacker will remain with Austrian outfit FC Wacker Innsbruck for half a year and should play at a high level, gaining some match practice with the Tirol side. “Mo has made a significant contribution to the youth side that won the German championship last year, earning himself the title of top scorer. He has proven his scoring skills as well among the senior players. The move to the Austrian league will certainly further his already impressive development,” explained Managing Director Michael Preetz.
The striker, who is good with both feet, came to Hertha BSC in 2015 and has played several games for the youth teams of the Blue-Whites. With the U19s, the boy from Berlin won the 2018 German Championship and was the competition’s top scorer. Following this, Kiprit signed a professional contract with Hertha. This season, the forward has played 16 games for the U23s in the Regionalliga Northeast and scored six goals. On a European stage, Kiprit has also made an impression, grabbing two goals in the UEFA Youth League. Now the time has come for the 19-year-old to take the next step in his career!
