…the Fortuna game: It was good that we were able to save ourselves a little bit after what was such a disappointing first half from us. Even in the couple of games before Fortuna we hadn’t been conceding goals as easily as that. We have to change that if we want to win games.
…his starting spot: I just try to do my best in training week in week out. And then when the coach decides he needs me, I’m there.
…what was said at half time: I’m one of the oldest and most experienced players at this club so I had a feeling that I just had to say something. I just asked the boys after how poorly we played in the firt half whether we wanted to be the team that lies down and concedes more, or whether we wanted to be the team that rises and comes back.
…the position in the table: In the end we got the draw which at least keeps Fortuna at bay for now. Now we turn our attention to Saturday against a team we know we can beat. We have to pick up where we left off here in the second half.
