Season ends for Leckie

Mathew Leckie suffered a ligament injury in his left ankle during the game against VfB Stuttgart and will now miss the rest of the season.

Another Herthaner will miss the rest of the season: Mathew Leckie suffered a ligament injury in his left ankle during the game against VfB Stuttgart last Saturday. Pál Dárdai will be unable to call upon his Australian forward for the rest of the season. He joins Arne Maier, Palko Dárdai, Niklas Stark and Vladimir Darida on the sidelines for the rest of the season. Leckie transferred from FC Ingolstadt in 2017 and has completed 48 games for the Blue-Whites, scoring eight goals and assisting four times.

Gersbeck unable to train

Marius Gersbeck is also out for the next couple of days. He will first sit out of training. The goalkeeper has played twice this season with the U23s in the Regionalliga after recovering from a long-term injury.
