Berlin – The first points are on the board and the 58th Bundesliga season is well underway. After the German Football League (DFL) published the schedule for the first eight matchdays in August, they have now confirmed matchdays 9 to 12 too. Hertha BSC travel to Leverkusen on Sunday 29th September 2020 (kick-off 15:30 CET). That’s followed by the long-awaited derby with 1. FC Union. The third Bundesliga match between the sides is also under floodlights on Friday 4th December 2020 (20:30 CET).
An intense December sees Hertha make the trip to Borussia Mönchengladbach for matchday 11 on 12th December 2020 (15:30 CET). Three days later, FSV Mainz 05 are the guests in the Olympic Stadium. That match gets underway at 20:30 CET on Tuesday evening. The last competitive fixture of the year is on the following weekend, when Hertha travel to SC Freiburg, but the DFL is yet to finalise the schedule.
