Berlin- The new Hertha kits for 2018/19 combine functionality and an awareness for the environment. The official launch of the sale of the kits on July 17th will see Hertha and Nike unveil a Berlin specific slogan: “In Berlin you can be anything. Even a Fanshop.”
There will also be an exclusive pre-sale in 12 Spätis in Berlin – one in each of the districts. This offer will see 92 shirts (46 home an 46 away) sold for 84,95 from one minute past midnight on July 17th. As an added extra the shirts will be sold in limited edition commemoration bags from Hertha and Nike and handed out in the Spätis.
Hertha will inform fans of the details of these sales via its social media channels.
Furthermore, every Späti visitor will have a chance to win one of twelve season tickets with a value of 500 euros. Each Berlin district will see one winner drawn.
The new home and away shirts from Hertha BSC are designed in ‚Capital city style“, of which the conjunction with Nike can clearly be seen, and offers a dynamic striped look inspired by the pulsating feel of living in the capital of Germany.
The shirt sees the traditional white and blue stripes combined with a red nike swoosh, while the away shirt is made up of dark blue and turquoise horizontal stripes with a turquoise trademark on the left side. Both shirts are emblazoned with Hertha’s new official sponsor TEDi as well by new sleeve sponsor Hyundai.
The backs of the shirts are both fully white – the home version with Hertha BSC, and the away with just Berlin. The boys will train in full white kits during the season.
