Pre-season to begin on 27th July

Hertha BSC will begin pre-season training on 27th July. All sessions will continue to take place behind closed doors.

Berlin - The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) announced the key dates for the upcoming 2020/21 season. The Bundesliga will return on 18th September, with the first-round of the DFB-Pokal kicking off the weekend prior. Bruno Labbadia's side will begin pre-season training nearly seven weeks earlier in order to prepare for the season.

The team will return to training on Monday (27.07.2020), with all session taking place behind closed doors in compliance with the hygiene measures still being enforced. The Blue-Whites will also not be travelling to take part in a pre-season training camp this summer. In addition to loanees Daishawn Redan and Nils Körber, Labbadia will also be welcoming a new face in Lucas Tousart. Ondrej Duda, who went out on loan to Premier League side Norwich City in January, will also return to the squad a few days later, as agreed upon with the coaching staff.
