Löw picks Stark – Quartet in the U21s!

Germany head coach has called up Hertha’s number 5 for the upcoming internationals. Four other Herthaner will travel with the U21s for a training camp in South Tirol as preparation for the European Championships.

Niklas Stark will be hoping to make his debut for the Germany national team after being called up to the squad again by Joachim Löw. The 24-year-old was picked for the first time in March but was not played during the games against Serbia and the Netherlands. Stark will be with Germany as they take on Belarus (8th June) and Estonia (11th June) in the European Championship qualifiers.

Four Herthaner join Kuntz

Four Berliners have been called up to the Germany U21s squad: Lukas Klünter, Arne Maier, Maximilian Mittelstädt and Jordan Torunarigha. The 27-man-squad and Stefan Kuntz will have a training crap in South Tirol from the 2nd to 11th June. They will then attempt to defend their U21 Euros title in Italy and San Marino between 16th and 30th June.
