Hertha set to start pre-season

Hertha squad set to return for pre-season with open training session on Thursday in Berlin.

Berlin- At last! After what has seemed like an eternity, the Hertha-less period is finally set to come to an end. Thursday will see Pal Dardai and his boys return to officially end the summer break.  The session will look to slowly bring the squad back into rhythm and break them into the hard sessions to come. “It’s finally time to get going again. I don’t like life without football. I’m looking forward to seeing th boys again and getting to know the new lads and work with them too.,” said Hertha’s head coach.
As well as new signings Javairo Dilrosun, Lukas Klünter and Pascal Köpke, Maximillian Pronichev will also join up with the first team from the under-23s. Marvin Plattenhardt and Mathew Leckie will not be around owing to their World Cup exploits with Germany and Australia respectively. Friday will see the squad undertake performance tests, before two sessions apiece on Saturday and Sunday.
